Thank you for your support of our successful Advent concerts in December 2009 performed in St Jean d’Angély, Aulnay and Corme Royal.
Our Summer concerts will take place in Saintes and St Jean d’Angély on
5th and 6th June. Final venues and times will be confirmed later.
The programme for the Summer concerts will include “The Choral Suite” from Karl Jenkin’s
“The Armed Man” supported by music from Russia and Africa – a very varied menu!
We
will be busy performing in the Spring as well. For any of you who may be in the UK
during the May Day Bank Holiday we will be sharing the concert platform with our
good friends “York Cantores”. This highly acclaimed choir came out to France at Easter
2008 when we performed 2 very successful concerts in Saintes and St Jean d'Angely.
This trip is our return visit. Our first concert will be on Friday 30th April in
St Olave's Church, Marygate, York at 8pm. The second will be on Saturday 1st May at St Edward's Church, Dringhouses, York at 7pm.
We shall be performing one of our favourite pieces, the choral suite from
“The Armed Man” by Karl Jenkins, along with a few other favourites.
In September we are inviting all who are interested to “Come and Sing Vivaldi Gloria”. Click here for initial details
Finally, our Christmas concerts will take place over the first 2 weekends in December 4th/5th and 11th/12th. Full details to be confirmed.
